September 2026
Zürcher Stalder AG, Lyssach
Dear Customers,
We would now like to officially announce what you may have already heard through the grapevine: after 65 years of dedicated business, we will be handing over the sales of our weaving and educational yarns, as well as accessories, to our partner Minnotex GmbH in the summer of 2027.
My husband, Theo Stalder, and I, Cornelia Zürcher, have now reached retirement age. As our children have chosen different career paths, the company cannot be passed down within the family.
Our collaboration with Sandra and Hans-Jörg Moser from Minnotex GmbH has developed very positively since 2020. We are delighted to have found a highly competent and reliable successor in Minnotex GmbH. Until now, Sandra and Hans-Jörg Moser have been responsible for the smooth supply of the yarns; from mid-2027, they will also take over sales.
The vast majority of our product range—weaving yarns, educational yarns and accessories—will continue to be available in Herzogenbuchsee. Detailed information regarding this will be announced from early 2027 onwards.
Regrettably, this handover means that our valued, long-standing staff members will need to seek new opportunities—a circumstance we deeply regret. We sincerely hope that everyone will find a good solution.
We will continue to run our range of courses over the coming years. This ensures that course participants who have chosen the weaving programme can continue learning without any changes. Fortunately, our experienced instructors are also staying on board. Courses outside the weaving programme will also continue to be offered in the future.
We look forward to serving you with full dedication until 30 June 2027. It will be our utmost priority to help ensure that the planned transition goes as smoothly as possible.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our customers, most warmly for your many years of collaboration and trust. It is almost unimaginable in this day and age, but we actually have business relationships that have lasted for nearly 65 years.

Minnotex GmbH, Herzogenbuchsee
Dear Customers,
Our long-established company was founded in Herzogenbuchsee in 1720 and is now run by the 10th generation.
Our fabric and ribbon weaving mill in Herzogenbuchsee produces traditional fabrics and ribbons, mainly made of silk. Among our most important products are traditional costume and flag fabrics.
For two decades, the yarn trade has formed an additional product segment. We offer a wide variety of yarns made from natural materials such as silk, cotton, linen, wool, etc., which are used in schools, institutions, handweaving workshops, and by private individuals.
We are delighted to be taking over the yarn and loom range of Zürcher Stalder AG from mid-2027.
Over the past few months, we have invested a lot of time planning our facility in Herzogenbuchsee to accommodate the extensive stock. Plans for most of the yarns are already firmly in place, and we are currently working on the detailed layout.
From early 2027 onwards, we will be able to keep you updated with further details via our newsletters.
We will do everything possible to ensure that the takeover proceeds as seamlessly as possible.
We would like to thank you today for extending the trust you have placed in Zürcher Stalder AG to us as well.
Hans-Jörg and Sandra Moser
