Collaboration with Minnotex

The time has come: The yarn collections of Minnotex GmbH and Zürcher Stalder AG are now united. Minnotex GmbH takes over production, while Zürcher Stalder AG handles sales.

This brings some changes to the presentation of the yarns:

 

1. New Look of the Spools:

The mercerised cotton is now wound on the spooling machine of Minnotex GmbH, which winds much faster and more precisely than the machine at Zürcher Stalder AG. As a result, the spools are now much tighter and smaller. However, the new spools contain the same yarn in the same quantity as the old ones.

 

2. New Colour Numbers:

With the merging of the two yarn collections, a common numbering system for the colours was also necessary. Therefore, there is now a new colour chart for the mercerised cotton, which you can order from us at any time.

The new colour range of mercerised cotton currently consists of 72 colours, available in 7 different qualities.

Despite many changes in the presentation of the yarns, we assure you that it is the same yarn as before!
The quality and origin of the raw material remain the same.

With these changes, our readiness to deliver improves, and our internal production processes are significantly optimised. Additionally, we can now also dye mercerised cotton in Switzerland. This allows our customers to benefit from shorter delivery times and a wide range of different yarn qualities.
